Solve for concentration (mg/mL and µg/mL) from vial mass and BAC water, then convert a target per-dose mass into mL per dose and insulin-syringe units (U-100, U-50 or U-30). Pick common vial presets or type your own values — formula shown on every result.

Use the value printed on the vial label or in the certificate of analysis. If the certificate states an overfill (e.g. 10.4 mg), type that exact value.
The calculator converts µL to mL internally. 1 000 µL = 1 mL.
Presets are user-input examples only. The calculator is a math tool — it does not recommend a dose.
Picks the per-mark volume (U-100 = 0.01 mL, U-50 = 0.02 mL, U-30 ≈ 0.033 mL).
Type the planned number of doses to see mL drawn per dose and total mL used.

What Is the Peptide Dosage Calculator?

The peptide dosage calculator on PeptideCalculatorTools.com is a single-screen math tool that turns a vial mass and a diluent volume into a precise per-dose volume, plus the insulin-syringe units for that dose. It is the second step in the typical peptide workflow: first you reconstitute (handled by the reconstitution calculator), then you dose — that is what this page is for.

The peptide dosage calculator handles any peptide that comes as a lyophilised powder reconstituted with bacteriostatic water or sterile water — generic use, not a specific peptide. If you want peptide-specific BAC volumes and presets for common research concentrations, use the dedicated BPC-157 calculator, the TB-500 calculator, or the semaglutide calculator. For two-peptide combinations (BPC-157 + TB-500 in one vial) the peptide mixing calculator is the right tool.

How to Use the Peptide Dosage Calculator

1. Enter the peptide vial mass

Click the 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg or 30 mg preset, or type any other vial mass in mg (or µg). The unit selector converts µg → mg automatically inside the calculator. The default is 10 mg because that is a common research vial.

2. Enter the BAC water volume added to the vial

Type the volume of bacteriostatic water (or sterile water) added to the vial in mL (or µL). The calculator derives the concentration instantly in both mg/mL and µg/mL. Change either value to see the concentration update.

3. Enter the target dose and read the result

Type the per-dose mass in mg or µg and pick the insulin syringe scale (U-100, U-50 or U-30). The result panel shows the per-dose volume in mL, the mass in mg and µg, and the equivalent insulin-syringe units. The animated syringe visualises the per-dose volume as a fraction of a 1 mL U-100 syringe. Use Reset, Copy result, Print or Copy share link to capture the calculation.

How the Peptide Dosage Math Works

Step 1 — concentration from vial mass and BAC water

c = m ÷ V

c is concentration in mg/mL. m is the peptide vial mass in mg. V is the volume of bacteriostatic water added in mL. Example: a 10 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water gives 10 ÷ 2 = 5 mg/mL (or 5 000 µg/mL).

Step 2 — dose volume from target mass and concentration

v = d ÷ c

v is the dose volume in mL. d is the target dose in mg. c is the concentration in mg/mL. Example: 0.25 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.050 mL per dose.

Step 3 — insulin-syringe units from dose volume

Each U-100 mark holds 0.01 mL; each U-50 mark holds 0.02 mL; each U-30 mark holds ≈ 0.033 mL.

units = v (mL) × syringe scale

Example: 0.050 mL × 100 = 5 U on a U-100 syringe; the same 0.050 mL = 2.5 U on U-50; ≈ 1.5 U on U-30. Always pick the scale that matches the physical syringe in your hand.

Step 4 — total doses per vial

If you plan to draw N doses from one vial, the total volume used is N × v, and the leftover BAC water is V − N × v. The calculator reports the doses-per-vial count from the doses-per-vial field if you fill it in.

Concentration vs Dose Volume — Quick Reference

How much volume to draw for common per-dose masses at the most commonly cited research concentrations.

Per-dose mass2 mg/mL5 mg/mL10 mg/mLconcentrationU-100 marks

1.00 mg (1 000 µg)0.500 mL0.200 mL0.100 mL2 → 5 → 10 mg/mL50 → 20 → 10 U

A per-dose volume below 0.01 mL is below the smallest accurate U-100 reading for many syringes. For very low per-dose masses, raise the concentration (use less BAC water) — but watch the BAC volume stays above the smallest accurate U-100 reading, ≈ 0.05 mL.

Peptide Dosage Worked Examples

Example 1 — 10 mg ÷ 2 mL, 0.25 mg dose (Mathematical Example)

c = 10 ÷ 2 = 5.000 mg/mL. Dose volume = 0.25 ÷ 5 = 0.050 mL. On a U-100 syringe: 0.050 × 100 = 5 U. On U-50: 0.050 × 50 = 2.5 U.

Example 2 — 5 mg ÷ 1 mL, 0.10 mg dose

c = 5 ÷ 1 = 5.000 mg/mL. Dose volume = 0.10 ÷ 5 = 0.020 mL. U-100: 2 U. U-50: 1 U.

Example 3 — 30 mg ÷ 3 mL, 1 mg dose

c = 30 ÷ 3 = 10.000 mg/mL. Dose volume = 1 ÷ 10 = 0.100 mL. U-100: 10 U.

Example 4 — 2 mg ÷ 1 mL, 100 µg dose

c = 2 ÷ 1 = 2.000 mg/mL. Dose volume = 0.1 ÷ 2 = 0.050 mL. U-100: 5 U.

Example 5 — reverse: target 5 U on U-100 with 10 mg/mL

5 U × 0.01 mL = 0.050 mL drawn. Dose mass = 0.050 × 10 = 0.500 mg per dose. Doses per 10 mg vial: 10 ÷ 0.5 = 20.

Common Peptide Dosage Mistakes

Treating U-100 marks as µg.

Each U-100 mark is 0.01 mL — it is a volume, not a mass. The mass per mark depends entirely on concentration. At 5 mg/mL a U-100 mark is 0.05 mg (50 µg); at 10 mg/mL it is 0.1 mg (100 µg).

Subtracting BAC water from the vial mass.

The vial mass printed on the label is the peptide mass, not the mass of peptide + water. Do not subtract the BAC water from the vial mass — the calculator does not either.

Switching units mid-calculation.

If the vial mass is in mg and the BAC water is in µL, the calculator handles the conversion. If you type 2 mL of BAC water but meant 2 µL, you are off by 1 000×. Always check the unit dropdowns.

Using a 30-unit syringe as if it were a U-100.

U-30 means 1 mL = 30 units, not 100. A 30-mark on a U-30 syringe is 30 × 0.033 mL = 1 mL, the full barrel. Pick the syringe in the calculator that matches the physical syringe.

Peptide Dosage Calculator FAQ

What does the peptide dosage calculator do?

It converts a peptide vial mass (mg) and the volume of BAC water added (mL) into concentration (mg/mL and µg/mL), then converts a per-dose mass (mg or µg) into mL per dose, µg per dose, and insulin-syringe units (U-100, U-50 or U-30).

How is the concentration calculated?

Concentration in mg/mL = vial mass in mg ÷ BAC water volume in mL. Example: 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL. The calculator also reports µg/mL by multiplying by 1 000.

How is the dose volume calculated?

Dose volume in mL = target dose in mg ÷ concentration in mg/mL. Example: 0.25 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.050 mL per dose, which is 5 insulin marks on a U-100 syringe.

How are insulin units calculated?

On a U-100 syringe, 1 mL = 100 units, so each mark = 0.01 mL. Units = volume in mL × 100. On U-50, 1 mL = 50 units; on U-30, 1 mL = 30 units.

Can I type the vial mass in µg?

Yes. The calculator auto-converts µg to mg internally (10 000 µg = 10 mg). The result is also reported in µg per dose and µg/mL for convenience.

Why does the calculator default to 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL?

5 mg/mL is the most common research concentration and produces a readable 0.05 mg/U on a U-100 syringe. The defaults are math examples, not recommended doses.

Can I work backwards from a target dose?

Yes — type the target dose per administration and the calculator shows the mL and insulin units for that dose, given the concentration you entered.

Does the calculator handle peptide blends?

No. The dosage calculator handles a single peptide in one vial. For two-peptide combinations (for example BPC-157 + TB-500 in one vial), use the peptide mixing calculator.

Is this calculator medical advice?

No. The peptide dosage calculator is a math tool. It does not give medical advice, recommend a dose for any person, or model pharmacokinetics. The presets are user-input examples only.

Can I share my inputs with someone else?

Yes. Click Copy share link. The button copies a URL with your vial mass, BAC water volume, target dose and syringe scale embedded; opening that URL restores the same values.
